Company overview

LEMMA is a scientific consulting company and software supplier whose headquarters are located in Sophia-Antipolis in the French Riviera. Founded in 2001 by Charles LECA and Philippe BOH, the company addresses international markets in a wide variety of sectors (see our activities) thanks to its unique expertise in Computational Fluid and Structure Dynamics (CFSD). Our objective is to deliver cutting-edge answers to your challenging problems by either providing technical consulting or software solutions.

Our team of experts in numerical simulation ground their approach on advanced applied mathematics and algorithms to deliver a fast and precise solutions to assist you in your technological achievements. Thanks to our powerful cluster, numerically challenging studies can be carried out in a manageable time.

Our solutions

LEMMA offers consultancy, training, software, and technology development to industries worldwide.

LEMMA experts can assist you in all design stages and for operational matters: design optimization, safety, efficiency analysis. Our expertise and knowledge is based on high-level experienced engineers and research scientists. Their mission consists in changing our knowledge into useful technologies and solutions for the industry.

For its service to the industry, LEMMA offers:

  • a complete range of physical and numerical models included in our in-house developed software (see NICEFLOW®).
  • a complete range of solutions to build new connected and smarter processes in all kind of industry based on new sensors technology, supervision development, state of the art control/command systems, risk and big data management.

To cope with the ever-increasing demands of the industry for high performance computing, LEMMA has built its own HPC Computer Center with Intel® processors and Infiniband® network. We use this power with MPI parallel computing to simulate fluid or structural dynamics problems. Please note that our customers can also access to our HPC center.

Our computational power

To be able to run computationally demanding numerical simulations with our software and for confidentiality reasons, starting in 2008 we have acquired three HPC clusters.

All these clusters are equipped with an Infiniband® network;which enables the run of fast parallel computations.
NICEFLOW®  is a massively parallel CFSD (Computational Fluid & Structure Dynamics) solver with an observed speed up ranging from 90% to 100% (several tests realized up to 2000 cores). End-users don’t have to know parallel programming nor write parallel codes in order to run parallel NICEFLOW® simulations. NICEFLOW® will automatically partition the job for users, using default settings that should be close to optimal.

Training

LEMMA is offering a variety of training courses to help you improve your simulation results and methods. Whether you are a current NICEFLOW® software user, a training session organized with the participation of our experts is still an opportunity you don’t want to miss !
